South Florida People of Color: A Decade of Change

MIAMI – South Florida People of Color (SFPoC), a nonprofit dedicated to fostering equity, healing, and inclusivity across the region, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special fundraising reception on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Black Archives – Historic Lyric Theater in Overtown (819 Northwest 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33136). Themed “We All Matter – E Pluribus Unum (Out of Many, One),” this special evening will honor great leaders. It will celebrate the impact of SFPoC’s work. The event will also raise important funds to grow programs. These programs help communities through connection, dialogue, and change.
