Woman Critically Injured After Being Struck by Car in Miami-Dade Walgreens Parking Lot

A recent parking lot catastrophe has left a woman critically injured after being hit by a vehicle outside a Miami-Dade Walgreens store, local authorities report. The incident, which occurred yesterday night at approximately 8:43 p.m., prompted a swift response from Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

The victim, whose identity has yet to be disclosed, was found pinned under the car at 28875 S. Dixie Highway, as Local 10 News described. She was urgently airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center in a critical condition. An alarm had been raised by her family after she failed to return home and was unresponsive to calls, with her boyfriend and teenage daughter arriving at the scene post-crash.
