The Weeknd, 35, (real name: Abel Tesfaye) purchased a $50 million home in Coral Gables, Florida — a record price for the posh Miami suburb — on Friday, October 10, Star can confirm.
The 18,963-square foot mansion boasts a sweeping, two-story grand staircase, eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms and two half baths.
But the real selling point is the 1.24-acre lot, set on a peninsula on Biscayne Bay — meaning the home is surrounded by water on three sides and features stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean beyond.
A mosaic-bottomed, 62-foot pool anchors the grounds, which also feature a dock that can accommodate a 200-foot megayacht.
