Music venue Midline Miami launching in Wynwood with stacked lineup

Miami’s live music options continue to grow with the upcoming launch of Midline Miami in Wynwood.

Why it matters: The opening of the indoor music venue at the Arlo Wynwood hotel comes after the legendary live music bar Gramps closed over the weekend, among other recent painful closures.

  • The addition of Midline and reopenings of Churchill’s Pub and Las Rosas offer signs of new life for the local music scene.

Zoom in: Midline Miami, which opens next weekend with performances from Freddie Gibbs and Cautious Clay, will be a 10,000-square-foot space with three full-liquor bars, per a press release.

  • Midline will have a capacity of 1,200 — similar to the Miami Beach Bandshell and Zey Zey.
  • The venue was founded by Miami nightlife veterans Eric Fuller, former co-owner of Club Space, and Jeremy Waks, founder of Treehouse Miami.

Vibes: Booked through BLNK CVNS Presents, you can expect an array of music genres, from electronic to rock, R&B and country, per the press release…
