Man accused of attacking Miami-Dade worker after being told he couldn’t sleep in hammock at park

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A man was arrested Tuesday after he was accused of punching and kicking a Miami-Dade County Parks & Recreation worker who told him he couldn’t sleep in a hammock at a park in Westwood Lakes, authorities said.

According to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred just before 8 p.m. Tuesday at Tropical Estates Park, located at 10201 SW 48th St.
