Flights at Miami International Airport were halted Tuesday morning as thunderstorms blanketed the area.
The Federal Aviation Administration issued the ground stop at 7 a.m. Tuesday for arriving flights, according to MIA. The ground stop was lifted around 7:55 a.m., a spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration said.
