A Wisconsin woman is facing multiple felony charges after Florida authorities accused her of spending several days drugging men she met at local establishments to steal tens of thousands of dollars in high-end jewelry and designer clothing.
Deziree Nicole Hood, 20, was arrested on Saturday and charged with two counts of grand theft and one count of false imprisonment. According to Miami-Dade police, the charges stem from two separate incidents that occurred earlier this month.
The first incident took place on May 16 at the Candlewood Suites Hotel in Virginia Gardens. According to a probable cause arrest affidavit, a male victim told investigators that he met with Hood at the hotel for drinks. The victim stated that after Hood handed him a beverage, he “began feeling disoriented, dizzy and unable to remember subsequent events.”…
