According to a report published by WPLG Local 10, a Coral Gables man named Pavel Acosta Ruano was arrested by the FBI agent for “attempted sex trafficking of a minor and attempted coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity.”
According to the report, Ruano (38) reached out to an undercover FBI agent using the dating app called Grindr. In the conversation, the FBI alleges that they told Ruano they weren’t 18 as stated in the profile, but really 14.
The conversation allegedly went back and forth between the FBI agent and Ruano including discussing sex and payment thereof. There was also discussion about the purchasing of a bike and offering the “boy” a ride…
