Miami-Dade driving instructors accused of fraudulently passing unqualified drivers

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies said they arrested employees of two separate traffic schools for scheming to pass undeserving drivers, allowing them to get driver’s licenses despite being unqualified.

Deputies took Daniel Delgado, 57, of southwest Miami-Dade, and Luis Alberto Vidal, 55, of Hialeah, into custody on multiple felony charges on Tuesday morning in connection with what authorities describe as a “coordinated scheme.”
