MIAMI (Court TV) — Prosecutors dropped charges against a woman accused of attacking fellow inmates at a Florida jail after the alleged victims failed to come to court.

Daisy Link, 31, had faced three charges of battery on a detainee for separate incidents at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. At a Monday status hearing, prosecutors dropped two of the charges, saying they could not reach the victims to have them appear.
In the first incident, Link was accused of punching another inmate multiple times in the dayroom at the jail. In another incident, Link allegedly rushed a different inmate on May 25, 2026, and punched her “numerous times in the head, face and pulled her by the hair,” investigators wrote in court documents…
