MIAMI — Raúl Castro was hospitalized on Tuesday in Cuba, according to sources in communication with Local 10 News Analyst Andy Gomez, the former director of the University of Miami’s Institute for Cuban Studies.
Cuban officials remained silent after the Diario Las Américas reported on Tuesday that the 95-year-old leader who served as Cuba’s president for 12 years had suffered a stroke and was on life support.
