A Miami-Dade man is behind bars after, deputies say, he stabbed his unsuspecting wife in the back — as she slept in their bedroom.
Pratapsinh Thakor, 75, appeared on Wednesday in bond court, where a judge told him he will remain at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond. Thakor is facing attempted felony murder charges and domestic violence battery charges.
The stabbing occurred on Tuesday around 1 a.m. Thakor’s arrest report doesn’t list the address of the residence, although property records indicate Thakor and several relatives own a condo on the 1400 block of Northeast Miami Gardens Dr., just outside North Miami Beach…
