A deadly shooting involving a Florida Department of Law Enforcement agent in southwest Miami-Dade late Thursday morning forced officials to lock down a school for hours, scaring students and parents who didn’t know what was going on.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office reported that the on-duty agent shot and killed a person near Southwest 157th Avenue and 140th Street at approximately 9:10 a.m.
