A “supertall” skyscraper is set to soar 100 stories above the ground in Miami upon its completion, breaking the record for the tallest building in the area.
The Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami, constructed to look like a series of glass cubes stacked atop one another, is located on Biscayne Blvd. near Bayside Marketplace.
It will be 1,049 feet tall when construction “tops out,” according to its website, which says it will be the tallest residential building south of New York City. Currently, the building is expected to be completed in 2028…
