Miami’s food scene is known for a lot of things, from Latin American and Caribbean flavors to delicious local seafood and high-end dining. Pizza likely isn’t the first food to come to mind, but that appears to be changing as we have several pizza shops that put us up there with New York and Chicago on the map!
Four of Miami’s own pizzerias have landed among the 100 best on Earth, according to the newly released 2026 50 Top Pizza rankings.
Which Miami pizzerias are considered the best?
Leading Miami’s representation is Wynwood’s Francesco Martucci at No. 27 in the world, followed by La Leggenda and ’O Munaciello tied at No. 47, and Miami Slice at No. 100.
Top 50 Pizza praises Francesco Martucci Miami for its Caserta-style ovens, ambiance and attentive service, alongside standout dishes like the cacio e pepe tortellini, grilled wagyu A5 and Sichuan pepper gelato. There’s a $200 tasting offering that the Italian guide notes, which includes three pizza tastings, the Escarole Calzone, the 7 Onion Consistencies and the Marinara Future.
As for the other standout local pizzerias, La Leggenda earned acclaim for its Neapolitan pies, well-hydrated direct dough and soft, well-aired crust topped with Italian DOP ingredients. Tied with ’O Munaciello — which also specialize in Neapolitan pizzas — judges highlight the Eggplant Parmigiana and perfectly balanced Ricotta and Salame pizza.
Rounding out the top 100 list, Miami Slice operates as a true slice counter with no reservations, a continuous flow of customers and few seats at the counter.
