A 53-year-old Florida father faces a felony child abuse charge after allegedly kicking his 11-year-old daughter and slamming her head into the floor because she did not turn off her tablet.
Husain Maki Habib was arrested by Doral police and charged with felony child abuse without great bodily harm. The investigation began the morning of Sept. 17, when the girl called her mother from school to report an attack that happened the night before at Habib’s home.
