A man and woman are facing felony charges after Hialeah police said they were found with at least 50 pieces of stolen mail belonging to 35 people.
According to an arrest report, 30-year-old Ernesto Javier Capoche and Mayleen Montane were taken into custody on Sept. 20 after officers spotted them riding an electric bicycle near West 15th Court and West 53rd Terrace. Police said the pair appeared to be “casing” homes in the area.
