If you’re planning on driving around Miami on Sunday morning, be advised that your normal route might be closed.
The Miami Marathon is Sunday morning with approximately 20,000 runners expected plus thousands of other spectators. An event that sprawls throughout downtown and extends into Miami Beach, its reasonable to assume that traffic patterns might look a little different on race day.
Fortunately, we know the course and race organizers have prepared a full list of streets impacted along with expected times.
Here’s everything you need to know about Miami’s road closures on Sunday with the full caveat that we have no clue what other roads might be shut down related to non-marathon activities.

Miami Marathon 2024 road closures
Although the race is on Sunday, some closures will begin on Friday to allow for race preparation and other events. The areas most impacted on Friday and Saturday are on Biscayne Blvd. between SE 2nd St and NE 2nd St.
