Fort Lauderdale, FL – In a shocking turn of events, prominent South Florida homebuilder Sergio Pino was found dead in his Coral Gables home on Tuesday morning. The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Pino died from an apparent suicide.

The FBI had been investigating whether Pino hired one of his part-time employees to target his wife, Tatiana, shortly after she filed for divorce in 2022. Tatiana had accused her estranged husband of poisoning her. She began having unexplained health problems in 2019 that persisted until she moved out of their home in 2022.
