Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, flanked by officials from various economic and innovation departments, has revealed the winners of the latest Public Innovation Challenge, a showcase of technological initiatives set to enhance the sprawling travel hub that is Miami International Airport (MIA). In connection to the event, Miami-Dade.gov reports that solutions like RouteMe employing artificial intelligence for easier navigation, UK-based Signapse’s Generative AI for sign language translation, and Mapsted’s accessible wayfinding will be tested at MIA through fall 2024.
