Construction Begins on $40 Million Hotel Development in Florida

Argentina-based Glokal Group and Miami-based Blue Road have officially begun construction on the $40 million Dolce by Wyndham Miami hotel in Miami Beach. The 90-room hotel will be located at 1745 James Avenue and is expected to rise five stories high on a 15,000-square-foot lot. Set to open in 2026, the hotel will create 45 new jobs in the local economy.

The Dolce by Wyndham Miami will cater to both business and leisure travelers, offering modern amenities, including a restaurant and a rooftop pool. This marks Glokal Group’s first project in the United States, and its president, Arturo Navarro, emphasized the importance of Miami as a premier destination. “Miami offers unparalleled attractions for visitors, and our hotel will provide the perfect blend of comfort and exclusivity for both business and leisure travelers,” Navarro said.

The project is a collaboration between Glokal Group and Blue Road, with AADESA Hotel Management and Blue Road managing the hotel upon its completion. Blue Road principal Marcelo Tenenbaum expressed confidence in the joint venture’s success, highlighting the expertise Glokal Group brings to the U.S. market. “Together with our proven track record, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring our guests’ every need is met,” Tenenbaum added.
