Future Miami Mega-Mall Project in Doubt

MIAMI, Fla. – American Dream Miami – a proposed 6 million-square-foot mega-mall – is in limbo pending the outcome of a lawsuit filed by the project’s developer. Edmonton, Canada-based developer Triple Five initially proposed the project to Miami-Dade County commissioners in 2015. Final construction plans received approval in 2018 for the $5 billion development that would be built on 175 acres where Interstate 75 joins Florida’s Turnpike.
