One person is dead and four others injured after a two-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 75 by State Road 326. Here’s what we know about the crash:

What time was the crash? Marion County Fire Rescue spokesman James Lucas said crews were assigned to the crash at 3:27 p.m. and arrived at 3:33 p.m. Rescue officials began extrication at 3:37 p.m. and it was completed at 3:51 p.m., Lucas said.
The spokesman said the victim was pronounced deceased at 3:55 p.m.
Troopers on scene said four others who were in the vehicle were transported to HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. Law enforcement officials said two were in critical condition and two others were listed in serious condition. Authorities said the injured are all adult males.
What type of vehicles were involved in the crash? A Honda Odyssey minivan and a tractor trailer.
What happened? FHP officials said the minivan was in the inside lane when it appears the driver lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason at the top of the hill by mile marker 358, which is just beyond the State Road 326 exit. The vehicle veered to the left and entered the grassy median near the guardrail.
