Chatting with Michele Estevez about weddings and project management

Michele Estevez vividly recalls the day of her fairytale wedding. She was transported to the Interterra Building on Brickell Avenue in a chauffeur-driven white Rolls Royce for a top-floor ceremony officiated by the mayor of Miami. One of Miami’s premier developers, Nicholas Morley, arranged everything and walked the bride down the aisle.

Though her marriage to Federico Padovan later ended in divorce, she still cherishes memories of that magical day.

Michele arrived in Miami from Chile in 1977. During her early years in Florida, she worked two jobs: in the shoe department at Richard’s Department Store downtown during the day and as a hostess at the Rusty Pelican in the evenings…
