Set to open across from the Deering Estate at 16800 Old Cutler Rd., Old Cutler Inn is the reimagining of a beloved Palmetto Bay institution — formerly known as Snowden’s, located down the street at 7271 SW 168 St.
Established in the 1920s by George Snowden on land purchased from Charles Deering during the Perrine Land Grants, Old Cutler Inn quickly became a landmark for the community. It was the real-life version of Cheers — a cozy, welcoming spot that helped define a neighborhood with a diverse menu of comfort food and local bar favorites where families and friends gathered.
Now, nearly a century later, the restaurant is being revived, on the site previously home to a BB&T bank, by Drew Dorsy, a real estate investor and developer with Bindor, and Benjamin Pascarella, a seasoned hospitality operator, who are bringing it back with a fresh spirit and renewed purpose…
