Care Resource Community Health Centers, Inc. opened its newly expanded Little Havana Health Center, a 45,000-square-foot facility that significantly increases access to care for individuals and families across the neighborhood.
This expansion marks a major milestone for Care Resource, enabling the organization to serve up to 20,000 patients annually, more than double the capacity of its previous facility. The new center offers a centralized location for a wide range of essential healthcare services, improving coordination and reducing delays in care for those who rely on consistent access to medical support.
Little Havana has been identified as an area with limited healthcare availability, where many residents face challenges such as limited insurance coverage, transportation issues, and a shortage of providers. The new health center is designed to address these gaps and offer streamlined, full-service care in one location.
