A Miami-Dade County altercation escalated into violence last Friday when a woman was struck by a car and assaulted in front of the Clarion Inn, as evidenced by a video released by authorities. Local 10 News reported the suspect, identified as 43-year-old Nicole Grant of Miami, was arrested for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Caught on camera outside the hotel located at 5301 NW 36th St. in Miami Springs, the video shows the victim getting hit by the car while walking with a man, then being dragged as she clung onto the victim’s hair, and finally pepper-sprayed in the face by Grant. Although the man’s identity was not immediately discernible from the footage, police said the incident was sparked by what appears to be a dispute rooted in a love triangle.
