Florida: Nation’s deadliest state for morning motorcyclists; Miami crashes up 26%

Rise and ride…unless you’re a motorcyclist in Florida. A new study has revealed that Florida is the deadliest state in the nation for motorcyclists–specifically in the mornings.

The personal injury law firm Shook & Stone recently analyzed motorcycle crash data between 2019 and 2023 from Crash Data Analysis & Statistics (CDAN), considering the average number of motorcycle crashes reported in the morning time.

The study reveals that Florida leads the nation with 3.07 morning motorcycle crashes per million residents, which is 118% higher than the national average of 1.41. The state recorded an average of 67 morning motorcycle crashes per year…
