The man charged in the murder of Cuban reggaeton star El Taiger in Miami last year denied killing the singer in new video showing his police interrogation.
The over 30-minute video shows Damian Valdez-Galloso speaking Spanish with a detective after he was taken into custody in the singer’s killing last year.
El Taiger, whose real name was Jose Manuel Carbajal Zaldivar, was found unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound in the back of an SUV near Northwest 9th Avenue and 17th Street back on Oct. 3, 2024. He died from his injuries days later, on Oct. 10.
“You guys know I didn’t kill him,” Valdez-Galloso says in the video after being read his rights. “I called [911] from my phone. I took him from my house.”…
