Man left ex with brain bleed after argument turned violent in Miami, cops say

MIAMI — A 25-year-old man is facing multiple charges after allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend of nearly seven years so severely that she suffered a brain bleed, Miami police confirmed in an arrest report obtained by Local 10 News on Wednesday.

Authorities said Bernard Lamont Marshall Jr. was arrested Monday following the early morning attack at an apartment near Coconut Grove that left the victim hospitalized in intensive care with a subarachnoid hemorrhage, also known as a brain bleed.
