Arrest made after custody dispute leads to shooting in northeast Miami-Dade, deputies say

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A 26-year-old man is facing multiple charges after a child custody dispute escalated into gunfire Thursday night in a northeast Miami-Dade neighborhood, leaving two men injured, authorities confirmed.

Denilson Desrameaux was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center following his release from the hospital, according to deputies with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.

Jail records obtained by Local 10 News on Friday show he is facing one count each of attempted second-degree murder, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and unlawful discharge of a firearm in a public place or residential property…
