BIG PINE KEY — A 42-year-old Miami motorist identifying himself as a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent during a traffic stop was arrested for DUI Wednesday, Aug. 13, following a call from another motorist regarding his reckless driving, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Scott Thomas Deiseroth was also charged with child endangerment.
Deputies received a call at 3:24 p.m. of a vehicle driving recklessly near mile marker 40. Deputies reported observing a vehicle driving into oncoming traffic and swerving heavily. It was stopped near mile marker 36.5. Two children, ages 7 and 9, were in the suspect vehicle, reports say.
