In what is becoming a familiar scene in Central Florida, another driver has been ensnared by the state’s recently enacted “Super Speeder” law – this time near the family-friendly grounds of Disney Springs. According to an arrest affidavit by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, 29-year-old Hennish Bahadur of Miami Gardens was apprehended after his white Mercedes-Benz was clocked traveling at a startling 104 mph in a 40 mph zone. The incident, which took place last night, resulted in Bahadur’s arrest on charges of dangerous, excessive speeding, as reported by ClickOrlando.
It seems that the vehicle was owned by Bahadur’s fiancée, who was in the passenger seat during the incident. As the ninth such arrest reported by FOX 35 Orlando since the “Super Speeder” law went into effect on July 1, public safety authorities appear to be steadfastly enforcing the new rules, intent on curbing the kind of reckless behavior that can have dangerous consequences for all road users…
