MIAMI — A fire erupted Monday morning inside the two-story detached garage of a home in Miami, first responders confirmed to Local 10 News.
According to City of Miami Department of Fire-Rescue officials, the fire was reported at 10:21 a.m. on Southwest 17th Road, near South Miami Avenue.
“On arrival, crews found a two-story detached garage with a living quarter upstairs with heavy smoke and flames emitting,” an MFR news release stated. “Immediately, the incident was upgraded to a Code 1 working fire promoting additional resources to assist including the Hazardous Materials Team.”…
