Labor union members protest at Miami International Airport

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Several labor unions organized a protest on Monday at Miami International Airport.

A member of the Services Employees International Union 32BJ, a New York City-based labor union that represents airport workers, held up a “Triangle, we need a contract now” sign calling out on her employer, Triangle Aviation Services.

Andrew Lang, a lead SEIU 32BJ organizer, said the demonstration is also to make a stand against immigrant-bashing rhetoric and to celebrate the labor of “working immigrants in this country.”…
