To regulate the use of electric bicycles, scooters, and other personal transportation devices, and thereby improve road safety on our streets, the City of Doral has approved the incorporation of new micromobility ordinances.
The resolution, proposed by Councilman Rafael Pineyro and approved by the City Council, instructs the City Attorney to draft a regulation that will include age restrictions, safety equipment requirements, and clear penalties for those who violate the new rules for using this type of transportation.
