Tugboat massacre victims honored with monument at Plaza de la Cubanidad

The city of Miami and the Cuban exile community will never forget the “13 de Marzo” tugboat massacre.

In the wee hours of the morning on July 13, 1994, Cuban authorities attacked and sunk a vessel in the waters off the Cuban coast, killing 41 Cubans, including 12 children.
