Man arrested 5 years after alleged high-speed crash in Miramar killed another driver

More than five years after a driver was killed in an alleged high-speed crash in Miramar, the man who police believe was responsible has been arrested.

Peterson Ervilus, 32, was arrested Wednesday on a vehicular homicide charge, Broward jail records showed.

The charge stems from the Aug. 21, 2020 crash that happened on Miramar Parkway at Southwest 148th Avenue, an arrest report said.
