Sky Coffee Buenos Aires 1825 Biscayne Blvd. Miami, FL 33132 (305) 850-1070
Sky Coffee Buenos Aires is a unique place. It opened in 2023 and is set inside a retired McDonnell Douglas MD-88 airplane that was used by Delta Airlines. They specialize in coffees inspired by Argentinian history and culture. One item on the menu is called “Casa Rosada,” for the house of government in Buenos Aires. For $9.50, it includes a red velvet cappuccino named after the Argentine Government House with edible roses and a fig macaroon. Another popular cappuccino is the Tierra del Fuego. The $19.50 drink was inspired by the 1833 gold rush in a town called Carolina that brought thousands of miners to that faraway point. It is on the expensive side because it is made with edible 24K gold and served with gold-wrapped chocolate truffles.
