A road rage incident in Miami has resulted in a shooting that left two men with serious injuries, authorities said Saturday. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office reported that their deputies were dispatched to the intersection of SW 92 Avenue and SW 4 Street on September 19 after receiving a call about a shooting. When they arrived, shortly before 6 p.m., deputies found two men with gunshot wounds.
The wounded individuals were transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where they remain in critical condition. The preliminary investigation, as posted on the Miami-Dade County website, points to an altercation between the two male victims that escalated to gunfire. Detectives from the General Investigations unit took over the investigation at the scene; however, the names and ages of the victims have not been released.
In an update, the Sheriff’s Office disclosed that Sabri Uriel Perez, a 31-year-old White male, has been arrested in connection with the shooting. Perez is charged with attempted second-degree murder.
