Good news for landlords; Miami renters move less than rest of the US, study finds

Recently, we reported on new data that shows Florida renters aren’t making it to their 2-year anniversaries; 46% of Orlando tenants move units within a two-year window, ranking ninth in the nation for move-easy hotspots.

Now comes another report, also from Rentcafe.com – Rental Competitiveness Report – that shows Miami bucking that trend, with renters in the Magic City staying put for 35 months, soaring above the national average of 28. In fact, the Magic City actually takes the top spot for the longest apartment stay in all of Florida.

This news comes as a sharp contrast to another recent report, which revealed that 46% of Orlando tenants move units within a two-year window, granting the city the ninth spot in the nation for move-easy hotspots…
