Man accused of intentionally hitting Miami Beach cop with electric scooter

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — A 29-year-old man was arrested Monday after he allegedly intentionally struck a Miami Beach police officer while riding an electric scooter.

According to his arrest report, the incident happened at about 5 p.m. Monday along the Beachwalk off 71st Street and Collins Avenue.

Police said the officer, who was in full uniform, saw the suspect, Noah Aloush, riding the standup electric scooter on the Beachwalk, which isn’t permitted, and stood in front of Aloush and held out his hand, motioning him to stop…
