A Miami Lakes attorney was arrested on Saturday after being accused of battering an elderly victim on board a cruise ship, records showed.
Phillip Ortiz, 38, was arrested Saturday and charged with aggravated battery on a person 65 or older, Miami-Dade Jail records showed.
According to an arrest report, Ortiz and the victim were on board the Norwegian Cruise Line Encore when the victim told Ortiz he couldn’t enter a hallway because it wasn’t open to passengers at the time.
