Brother of man found dead after Miami Police shootout arrested in alleged road-rage shooting

The brother of a man found dead after a shootout with Miami Police officers last month was arrested for allegedly opening fire on another vehicle during a road-rage incident, police said.

Alan Henry Triana, 23, was arrested Sunday on charges including aggravated assault with a firearm, shooting a deadly missile, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, cocaine possession, aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer without violence, and possession of drug paraphernalia, Miami-Dade jail records showed.

Triana was already out on bond following his arrest last month on charges of attempted tampering with physical evidence, possession of armor piercing ammunition, improper exhibition of a firearm or weapon, and felony harassment of a witness, victim or informant following the shootout involving his brother, Mason Triana.

Mason Triana allegedly opened fire on Miami officers back on Oct. 9 before barricading himself inside a home. He then came out and exchanged gunfire with officers, and after an hours-long standoff, was found dead inside the home, police said…
