Yesterday morning, a shooting incident near the Golden Glades Interchange in Miami-Dade led to two individuals being hospitalized, officials say. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at an apartment complex located at Northwest 171st Avenue and Northwest 158th Street around 12:51 a.m., as reported by NBC Miami. Upon arrival, deputies discovered one man on the ground with wounds to his lower extremities, he was promptly taken to Aventura Hospital and is currently in stable condition.
The second victim self-transported to Jackson North Medical Center exhibiting critical injuries after being shot, video evidence suggests that the car they drove in had multiple bullet holes on the passenger side. Subsequently, the victim was transferred to Aventura Hospital, according to information from both NBC Miami and the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office. The area was heavily cordoned off by authorities following the incident, which included the sealing of two apartment buildings for several hours as part of the crime scene.
