MIAMI — Surveillance videos obtained Friday by Local 10 News show the moments multiple jewelry items were stolen from a Miami jewelry store, allegedly by the store’s own employee.
Miami police confirmed Nubia Milena Torres-Cubillos, 45, a Colombian national currently living in Miami, was arrested Sept. 9 on accusations that she stole multiple gold links from a broken Cuban link bracelet at the jewelry store she worked at.
Police said the thefts occurred from June to August, during which time Torres-Cubillos would conceal the links in a box that she had placed on a shelf, repositioning it at one time to “reduce visibility.”…
