Vehicle Break-In Window Shattered at Saratoga Springs Apartment Complex

A member of the Miami Springs Community, Yolanda Gómez, shared the news that her “mother-in-law’s car window was smashed and her purse was stolen” this past Thursday at approximately 1:00 PM. If you witnessed anything, have dash cam or other surveillance video of the area, please contact the Miami Springs Police Department at 305.888.9711.

NOTE: Vehicular Burglary is the most common crime in Miami Springs. Typically, criminals are opportunistic testing and opening unlocked vehicles. However, in this case, the window was smashed, apparently to steal the purse. Obviously, the police recommend not to leave valuables in your car and that you keep your vehicle locked at all times.

Good morning neighbors, I’m sharing this so we can all stay alert. This Thursday at 1:00 PM, my mother-in-law’s car window was smashed and her purse was stolen. This happened right in front of Saratoga Springs Apartments, in the N Royal Poinciana area.

Please take precautions,don’t leave any kind of valuables in your car even “just for a minute”, keep doors locked and secure your vehicle,stay aware of suspicious people nearby.
