MIAMI — Firefighters used their 1952 Peter Pirsch surplus fire truck on Wednesday to help Santa Claus deliver hundreds of Christmas gifts in Miami.
Miami Fire Rescue and the Miami Firefighters Benevolent Association have been teaming up with Claus for more than seven decades.
“We don’t just drop off the toys. We actually have Santa deliver them to the classroom, and they call each child’s name,“ said Alex Martinez, of the Miami Firefighters Benevolent Association.
