A Florida man pleaded guilty in federal court on Tuesday to defrauding numerous victims, including Connecticut residents, in a $250,000 fraud scheme through Zelle, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Kuttino Jamal Scott, 24, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bank fraud, which carries up to a 30-year prison sentence, in New Haven federal court, said David X. Sullivan, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
Scott, of Miami, Fla., is free on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to be sentenced April 13, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office…
