On November 7, around 11 p.m., Anna Kepner died on a Carnival cruise ship, travelling from Miami, Florida. She was travelling with her family and was a high school student of Central Florida, set to graduate this year.
In the days since her death, there has been a lot of speculation and investigation regarding the true perpetrator in the case, as well as how Kepner died. The current cause of death was reported as “mechanical asphyxiation,” another person physically blocked her airway, suffocating the teen. Given these details, the case was also ruled a homicide case.
